This workshop intends to raise and discuss the concerns envisaged by stakeholder groups in the field of RFID, with a view to get a solid understanding of the main security & confidence, privacy & data protection, and health & safety issues, and collaboratively chart out new ways to address the related challenges and opportunities.

The rapporteurs from the five domains covered in the Workshop 2 “RFID application domains and emerging trends” will make short reports on the main issues, requirements and policy options in relation to privacy, security and health.
